The 100 Mom March

We couldn’t help but notice.

Last year the Million Mom March on our nation’s capital apparently drew close to that number of second-amendment opponents.

This year’s Million Mom March came up about 999 thousand 900 females short.

Granted, the apparent strategy was different this year, with protestors said to have gathered at state capitols from coast to coast.

But if Sunday’s national results were repeated in each of the state capitals, that would still have left organizers about 995 thousand moms short of their goal.

Let’s state right out front that no one I know is in favor of innocent children being shot. Gun owners have a responsibility to protect their children and teach them how to handle weapons with care and respect. Organizations like the National Rifle Association assist families in this regard with gun safety classes that can help prevent tragedies. For this, they must be commended.

But it’s increasingly obvious that gun ownership opponents have often used emotion as a trigger in their battle to forward the United Nations agenda of snatching legitimately owned firearms from every American home and tearing up the Second Amendment to our Constitution.

Speakers at the Million Mom March claimed that mandatory gun lock legislation is their goal. But you can bet they won’t stop there.

I suspect their cheerleaders in the mainstream media and monolithic globalist organizers will never allow this effort to falter short of their goal.

This truth also became evident as I listened to national radio coverage of the 100 Mom March on Sunday. One newscaster admitted that only 100 protestors were on hand in Washington D.C. but went on to add that millions of moms were protesting from coast to coast. There is no evidence that such gatherings ever took place.

He then proceeded to play two interview snippets with group spokespersons.

Imagine, devoting 45 seconds of a three minute newscast to a non-event attended by only 100 female fanatics. Even on a slow news day, such a one-sided approach to journalism can only be considered propaganda, intended to foster a lopsided liberal agenda and dismantle our individual rights and rational national sovereignty.

I will believe the media is unbiased the next time CBS news sends its reporter to cover a "Second Amendment Sisters" convention in Flagstaff.

And not until.
