U.S. Constitution is Globalists' Pinata
Many years ago, I wanted to become a Spanish teacher.
Two years of straight As in high school and four more semesters of top grades at "La Universidad" left me one cocky muchacho.
Then, one day, it hit me. No matter how well this gringo learned to speak the language, there were still about two billion people in the world with a 16-year head start who would always speak Spanish better than me.
So, I got into radio instead.
I offer this bit of personal history for two reasons. First, global vision is often myopic. In its rush to homogenize everyone into its own brand of world-class socialism, the UN has rushed headlong to destroy the Judeo Christian heritage of nations throughout the world. Sometimes, its best to consider your own neighborhood, see where God planted you and appreciate your own roots.
Second somewhere along the line in my study of Hispanic culture, I was introduced to the pinata. Its a giant, colorful paper mache figurine, filled with small toys and candy, suspended by a rope at a childs birthday party. The partygoers are blindfolded, spun in circles and given a long stick, which they use to batter the pinata into little pieces, spilling treats across the floor.
Today, the US Constitution has become little more than a pinata, hanging by a string at the Globalists birthday bash.
And theyre all taking turns with the baseball bat.
Last week, Hillary Clinton took her best cut with calls for abolition of the Electoral College. This, of course, because Democratic candidate Al Gore apparently took the nations popular vote but may not garner enough electoral votes to become our next President.
Now, Secretary of State Madeline Albright is calling for elimination of Constitutional provisions that prevent foreign-born Americans from seeking the Presidency. Recently addressing a New York forum on women in politics, Albright floated the proposal. Of course, Albright is among those foreign-born Americans prohibited from seeking our top office.
The Czechoslovakian native has been courted, numerous times, to consider a run for the presidency of the Czech Republic. She has repeatedly turned down such suggestions but now that her tenure in the Clinton administration is ending, there are renewed rumors she may reconsider the proposal made by current Czech President Vaclav Havel.
By the way, what was it the Constitution promised us about "due process of law?" The United States is now on trial before the World Court in Europe because the State of Arizona executed a pair of German nationals convicted of murder. Is the Supreme Court the top court in our land? Or has that provision already been stripped away by the battering blows of the Pinata Party.
And lets not forget, an army of Constitutional critics has been taking a swing at the Second Amendment for years.
What saddens me most is that the blindfolded batters are not just destroying some cheap trinket with each new assault. Theyre tearing gaping holes in the adobe walls of our American hacienda and laying our inhabitants open to attack by any passing international banditos.
This is one game that needs to stop and pronto!
