Dark
Revelations
Today’s relentless pursuit of the truth may guide us
through some dangerous waters.
Our goal is not only to turn up suppressed information on
the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing and the downing of TWA Flight 800 but also to
consider why the Washington spinmeisters have chosen to reveal more about
these tragedies one fact at a time.
In the days immediately following the carnage at the Edward
P. Murrah Federal Building, numerous witnesses came forward claiming to have
seen Tim McVeigh in the company of a mysterious, John Doe #2. There were
reports that video tapes from several security cameras in the vicinity of
the federal building that were recording events on the morning of April 19th,
1995, had been impounded by federal authorities. They never were allowed to
surface during the trials of McVeigh and convicted co-conspirator Terry
Nichols.
Well, now that McVeigh has been permanently removed from the
scene and Nichols is serving out his life sentence in a federal prison, it
appears leaks are purposely springing that would redirect the anger of the
American people into the war effort being staged by the current
Administration.
Not that there’s anything improper about finally being
told the truth…which is…there are Middle Eastern finger prints over both
the Oklahoma City and TWA Flight 800 disasters.
In a September phone conversation with Fran Eaton of the
Eagle Forum of Illinois, Chicago Attorney David Schippers, former Chief
Counsel for the House Judiciary Committee on Impeachment during the Clinton
scandals, confirmed he is representing a one-time Oklahoma City TV reporter
named Jayna Davis.
Schippers says Davis has revealed to him the identity of
John Doe #2 and that man is of Middle Eastern origin. He also revealed, in
his words, "strong evidence" linking Saudi terrorist Osama bin
Laden to the federal building and TWA explosions.
He then claimed a caller with a Middle East accent contacted
Davis, telling her to "turn on her TV," just minutes before a
second jumbo jet hit the World Trade Center, last month.
Schippers concluded his revelations to Eaton by promising he
was "about ready to let the lid off of this."
The following analysis is my opinion only but appears to be
supported by facts.
The Clinton Administration saw major political points to be
made in its war on the Second Amendment and the "vast right wing
conspiracy" by limiting the investigation of the Murrah Building
bombing to domestic dissidents like McVeigh and Nichols. Now, Washington has
gotten all the mileage it can from that strategy, so the real facts can be
revealed slowly to help paint a true picture of our new national nemesis,
the bomber bin Laden.
Sometime back, we heard Osama ranting that he wanted to
bring down 10 passenger planes with Stinger missiles. More than 100
witnesses saw one such missile leap from the Atlantic Ocean and intercept
TWA Flight 800 in a giant fireball. Even now, Schippers claims bin Laden
brought down the plane not with a missile but by letter bomb.
Evidently, the powers that be want to continue this charade
to protect an already rattled airline industry and sedate the nervous
passengers who are just now beginning to return to their seats. Heightened
security can prevent explosives from being smuggled aboard planes but do
little to deter some crazies armed with Stinger missiles.
In coming days, I predict more "discoveries" will
be made and history will be rewritten to energize and galvanize the American
people against a genuine Islamic threat. Who knows, maybe those long lost
Oklahoma City videotapes will surface. One can only hope. As the
process unfolds, I suspect more and more of the truth will be spoon-fed to
us, producing the desired result of righteous indignation.
No matter what their motivation, I applaud the "powers
that be" in Washington for finally disclosing more of what we should
have been told all along. Better late than never.
Perhaps, one of these days, they’ll also admit the battle
we’re currently waging is not merely one against terrorism but a fight to
the death between two diametrically opposed cultures. Like it or not, that’s
how our enemies have framed the conflict to their followers and if we want
to win this war, we’d better know what’s on their minds.
