RU-486 to Hit the Streets
By Web Today Commentator Todd Beezley
When the Food and Drug administration approved the controversial RU-486 abortion pill for sale in the U.S., this week, it became judge, jury and executioner for millions of American children, yet unborn.
Pro-life groups across the country are furious with the FDA decision to allow distribution of the pill in about one month. It makes the "choice" of murder as easy as filling a glass with water and swallowing.
Those attempting to stir the conscience of our nation could once organize picket lines, share pro-life materials and pray with those considering abortion. When abortions were conducted in the marketplace, the topic became a fair target for debate. And the stigma attached to running a gauntlet of concerned picketers or demonstrators and viewing graphic pictures of pre-born victims of abortion contributed to the saving of countless children who are alive and with us, today.
The RU-486 murder pill changes all that.
We cant say we feel sorry for the abortionists whose clinics might be closing down as a result of this decision. The financial pinch they will soon feel may be the first in a series of righteous paybacks and warnings from the throne of God, intended to lead them to repentance or destruction.
But now we fear the death toll will escalate. If 40 million innocents died in the "so-called" clinics since the 1973 passage of Roe vs. Wade, how many hundreds of millions will be chemically annihilated, now.
And how will our Maker deal with this personal affront to his creation.
I fear America has now jumped out of the frying pan into the fire.
