Meet the Copperhead Crowd!

888WebToday  November 29, 2001   The old Chinese saying "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." is very true, but it has a corollary, which no one seems to advance.  "The friend of my enemy is my enemy!"  Nowhere is this more appropriate than in describing Liberal Democrats and their concern for civil rights for the alien terrorists. And in their concern for delaying the economic stimulus package.  And in their general desire to gain political advantage at the expense of pursuing the war and the punishment of the attackers.  Let's call them for what they are: Liberal Democrat Copperheads, or more briefly,  L. D. Copperheads.

 The L.D. Copperheads do not seem to be able to cope with the fact that George Bush won the election.  They desperately try to derail his initiatives, even the ones that will win the war against terrorism.  They block judicial appointments and hold up legislation.  We might as well name them here. We are talking about Tom Daschle, Patrick Leahy, Joe Biden, John Conyers, Ted Kennedy, Joe Lieberman, Dick Gephart, Dick Durbin, et al.  You know the group.  The Copperhead Crowd.  These are the men who would sacrifice America for the sake of political gain.  These are the same guys who tried to legitimize Clinton's legacy and prevented his removal from office, after he was impeached.

 But that is history.  What we are concerned with at this point in time is the deliberate effort to derail the hot pursuit of the war effort, and the incredible defense of non-Americans who have tried to destroy this nation.  To give them equal protection under the law as we give to American citizens. Even to the point of granting these terrorists rights that our own military do not have.  They are the L. D. Copperheads and must be known as such until they slink back into their snake holes.

 The Liberal Democrat Copperheads will try to tell us that they are only trying to protect our civil rights.  Yeah! Sure!  Just like they told us that 'they were only trying to help us' in the days when Fort Worthless Jim Wright was spending our tax dollars.  What they are really trying to do is gain some political advantage over the Republicans and set the stage for the elections of 2002.  It is a very cheap and unpatriotic strategy, unworthy of any political party.  And to do these backbiting deeds at the expense of America in wartime!!

 However, the ''win at any cost' strategy may backfire on these traitors.  The Media will support this unwholesome plan because they too, are Liberals. But people have a wider choice of Media sources for the news today, and some logical conservative thought is getting through the blue haze of the Liberal Media. These destructive self-serving plans may self destruct due to the incredible patriotism of Americans, and cost the L.D. Copperheads dearly at election time.  In the meantime, let us realize what they are doing, and call them what they really are------Copperheads!  Or, better known collectively as the Copperhead Crowd.
