It Is Time to Boycott Islam

888WebToday  November 29, 2001  In this country, we welcome immigrants and try to accept their customs and peculiarities and, eventually, they end up contributing to our general culture.  They contribute to the basic American culture if they have a solid respect for America and the freedom that it gives to its' citizens.  That would mean adopting the dress and habits and laws of the United States.  The Muslims have glaringly ignored this principle, and have insisted on wearing the head scarf on women, reducing  women to second class citizens in this country, and trying to observe Islamic law, which differs completely from our own.  What do we say to the Muslim immigrant, who tries to enter this country with multiple wives, which is legal in Islam?  What do we say to the Muslim who wants to get marries again in this country?  He would be married in a mosque and be perfectly legal under the Islamic law.  What about their prayer practice 5 times a day? There are verified reports of Muslim clerks in retail stores dropping everything and kneeling in the aisles to pray, forcing customers to edge around them and generally disrupting business.  These are not people who want to blend into the American culture.  Just the opposite!  Every other ethnic group that has entered this country, legally or illegally, has adopted our morals and customs and has gotten itself Iino the mix that makes the American Way.  The Muslims would rather be confrontational, would rather 'stand out' in a crowd, and some of them would accept and support terrorism against our nation.

This administration has tried to tell us that Islam is a religion of peace. That Muslims have a deep family commitment.  With multiple wives?  Is that possible?  The administration has its' own reasons for extolling Islamic virtues, including perpetuation of the 'coalition' myth that means different things to different people.  We should point out that no less than the preacher, who gave the invocation at Bush's inauguration, Rev. Franklin Grahm, the son of evangelist Rev. Billy Grahm has called the religion of Islam "an evil faith".  He would not have said that lightly, and though he has had much pressure thrown at him, he will not retract a word.

The administration cannot order the American people to patronize Muslim business ventures.  We can, if we choose, drive to a gas station not owned by Muslims.  We can patronize retail stores that do not employ them as clerks. We can criticize colleges who try to get us to 'understand' the Koran.  We can criticize the administration for trying to lead us into a possible disaster, perhaps even worse than that of the World Trade Center.  Weshould bring pressure on the Immigration Service to restrict Middle East immigration.  We should force our government to examine all 'student' visas and quickly deport violators.  In short, we should withdraw the welcome mat for these people.  They come here and to other western countries in swarms, like locusts, and want to change our culture to theirs.  But they bring nothing of value to us and threaten us with their terrorism.  Perhaps we should target all service businesses and be certain that they do not employ Muslims either as managers, owners, or employees.  It is a small price for us to pay to protect our country.  They are not welcome, and if they do not intend to become Americanized, they should be deported.

It is past time to defy the administration's attitude.  It is not the time for revolution or any form of violence.  It is past time to show the Islamic people that they are not welcome, and that they should consider returning
to the Middle East.
