Phillip of Macedonia was the father of Alexander the Great and no slouch in his own right. He subdued the Athenians and the rest of Greece and fathered the greatest general in history. We entered this arena of unrest to help the Bosnian and the Croats and quiet the Serbian group. Then President Slobidan Milosevic of Yugoslavia (Serbian) decided the Albanians were taking over his province of Kosovo and he must do something to avoid losing the state. He started the "ethnic cleansing" process of removing Albanians back to Albania. Those who did not go willingly were dealt a pretty severe fate. The pictures of atrocities came back to the 'civilized' world, human rights advocates started preaching, and the first thing you knew, the Clinton
administration was "ginning up" NATO to intervene. Since NATO is 90% United States, the alliance had to conform.

Do you remember that we sent Tomahawk guided missiles (at $1million dollars a copy) into Belgrade, the capital, and targeted many bridges and infrastructures of a sovereign nation. In the process, we sent a Tomahawk into the Chinese embassy (oops!), and had to apologies profusely and pay for the damage and the loss of life. The citizens of this nation did not authorize this action, there was no debate and we entered a de facto war against Serbia. It ended with half of Kosovo province ceded to the Albanians, and the rebels are still fighting to gain more of Kosovo. Now the NATO nations are finding that peacekeeping between these groups is not a piece of cake. The KFOR forces (NATO) are calling for more troops to help them keep the combatants apart.

In Macedonia, we are bringing back Milosevic's old troops to fight off the insurgent Albanians. President Bush has refused to get further involved in the mess by not reinforcing the troops in Bosnia and not sending our armed forces into the fray in Macedonia.

There are two important points that are not mentioned in the media. The blood type profile of the Albanians is different from that of the Serbs, indicating a different ancestry for this group. This blood profile of the Albanians can also be seen in the Basque population of northern Spain and it is different from the rest of the Spanish people. Some anthropologists who study blood types theorize that both the Basque people and the Albanians, who have the same blood types are remnants of the ancient Phoenician people, but this would be difficult to prove.

The second matter of importance to remember is that there are two religions involved here, and many people have been sacrificed in the name of religion. The Albanians are being supplied with arms from Muslims in Kosovo, who get the arms from Pakistan, who are supplied by Afghanistan who are supplied by bin Laden, who purchases the arms from China,

What are we doing here? At least Bush is refusing to get further involved. He can't just withdraw our forces without endangering NATO, but the sooner we disengage, the better. Another fine mess you've gotten us in, Stanley! (Clinton).
