Hoaxed Hoaxes

Overreaction can do us all in. We all pooh-poohed conspiracy theories until someone
showed us some legitimate evidence. Unfortunately, one documentation does not verify them
all. I have often mentioned a good web site titled TruthorFiction.com. They do a pretty
good job of reviewing many rumors for verification. The only dispute I ever had with them
was claiming
Jane Fonda really became a new Christian. If she is, it is unfortunate that maturity does
not come instantly with salvation. She is still hanging on to a lot of old baggage, and I
don't mean Ted Turner. But George W. Bush may be a new Christian also. Only those who read
the Bible know that God does not allow "new Christians" to even be a deacon in
the church, let alone a political leader or media celebrity.
It greatly saddens me when well meaning Christian friends start believing every new story
that comes by without checking out the evidence. Spreading e-mails about legislation by
Madeline Murray Ohair when she has most likely been dead for over a year now is a common
occurrence. I almost bought the story of George W. Bush witnessing to a young boy until
TruthorFiction.com exposed it as a hoax. When believable stories like this start surfacing
without any truth to them, we need to realize where they really do originate from. the
"father of lies." In the military, it's referred to as counterintelligence. In
radar it's called electronic counter measures or ECM. Satan's objective is to get us
to spread his lies around and make us look as bad as him.
A grand hoax going around now claims America never landed on the moon. I will
categorically claim that all the "evidence" they offer is a total fabrication
itself. Their own pictures are digitally doctored. I need to inform younger readers that
digital photo retouching technology did not exist in 1969. Yes, photos could be altered,
but it took a lot of time and effort to custom print images to size, cut, paste, air
spray, make a copy negative, then reprint your funny picture. And the end result always
revealed generation loss.
I have in my possession 8"x8" prints made from first generation inter negatives
from the ORIGINAL Ektachromes shot by the astronauts themselves. How did I get them? A
photo lab in Dallas Texas named Meisel Photochrome had the contract to make inter
negatives from the astronaut's original Ektachromes. NASA needed prints for their own
study. Meisel got permission to resell additional prints to their customers. I was one of
them at the time and bought a set. These prints were sold shortly after the astronauts
returned. There was no time to airbrush anything. These are not retouched photos. Expected
reflections are in faceplates. Everything has a shadow where it belongs. None of the
claims made by the "never landed there" crowd are justified.
I could also go into great length telling personal stories I know from engineers who were
intimately involved in the entire project. From the pre-Apollo missions to the actual
landings, lives were affected, billions of dollars were spent and plenty of evidence
remains. The late James Irwin himself, a truly born again Christian spoke at a church I
belonged to. The false conspiracy theorists are just trying to make us look bad. It won't
work guys. Sell your trash to the tabloids, but don't clutter my e-mail box. When
888WebToday reports on a conspiracy, we have truth behind it, not fabrication.
