It is both pathetic and frightening when you hear people actually believing the malarkey perpetrated by the Really Impaired Media. On the 4/20/2000 Larry Bates' show, Unraveling the New World Order, (http://www.inforadionet.com/unwo.asp) the Elian fiasco was being discussed. It is extremely disturbing to hear otherwise intelligent callers express the view that there is nothing wrong with communism.
Since when has the Clinton administration ever exhibited any concern whatsoever for the sanctity of the family? Only when he can twist the story to make ignorant people think he is "reuniting a child with his father", while actually supporting a blood thirsty communist dictator by using his usual group of "jackbooted thugs" to run America into the police state that tyrants always do.
A caller the next day pointed out that anyone who thinks communism is no different than the free enterprise, constitutional republic that we have in America, really does not deserve the freedom he has in this country. One emotional caller accused the show host of being "evil" for desiring the child to stay in the US, separated from his father. She was blind to the possibility of the father coming to the US. She thought Cuba was no different than the US.
Perhaps we should start an exchange program. For every alien that comes fleeing to the US, illegally, we should ship an American born communist sympathizer back. Anyone who thinks communism is "just another form of government" is so pathetically misguided, it's frightening. Karl Marx was an occultist. That means he worshipped Satan, not God. He favored democracy because it always degenerates into mob rule, allowing for his fascist/elitists to take over. He favored a progressive income tax to exacerbate class war fare. His own mother said he would have a different world view if he would just go out and get a job. Communists and Nazis both concentrate the entire country's wealth and power among an elitist group, and deny wealth and basic human rights to the masses.
Historian Anthony Sutton revealed years ago that American Elitists have been funding communism for over a hundred years. The baited hook it offers appeals to ignorant masses claiming to "share the wealth" while NEVER living up to its claim. Communism stifles creativity and creates a captive market. This is just what American corporate elitists want for an addictive clientele. The business principal being used is identical to the Tobacco company plan. Eventually, America woke up to what tobacco was doing to their lungs. But few are noticing what this bastardized blend of free enterprise and communist rule is doing to the world. The World Trade, IMF and associated riots of late are tips of an iceberg that could sink everything. The captain of the Titanic was partying when he should have been steering the ship.
American is sure spending a lot of energy rearranging the deck chairs.
