Bonus Buffet

The free hand out site of the week is http://www.registeronce.com The concept of this site is to cluster several "bonus" programs together so you can simply run down the shopping list of items offered, click the ones you want, then only fill out one form to obtain all of them. Each item gives a $1 or $2 bonus for trying it out.
One item stands out as the weirdest I've seen yet. I explained the concept of "Pay to Surf" sites in previous articles. Ad Broadcast offers what I nominate as the stupidest pay to surf idea I've seen yet. They pay you to receive advertisements ON YOUR CELL PHONE, or pager. Some how having my cell phone go off while I'm maneuvering in dangerous traffic, only to discover it's an aluminum siding salesman, doesn't really excite me. They claim you'll get paid up to $10 per phone call. Now if you're sitting in your recliner at home, just answering your phone, getting $10 per call would make me just want that thing to keep ringing. Unfortunately, when you read the disclaimer, you can be paid as LOW as a penny per call. And if your pager fails to pick up all segments of a multi-message ad, you lose it all.
When I often see really good business ideas come along, but the inventor has to pull hen teeth to get any funding, it makes me wonder how drunk the venture capitalist was who funded this idea?
RegisterOnce.com does have several intelligent services offered, so it is worth giving it a peek. I found about $8 worth of items to click on.
