Call it crude, uncreative or just plain pandering, the Internet relies more on direct truth to convey ideas than the broadcast media has done for a century. The quickest way a web site gains an audience is to literally buy it. Of course, that gives me an excuse to call myself a journalist just by telling you what street corner someone is passing out 10 and 20 dollar bills at today.

Before I tell you of the two latest, I need to once again encourage you to start your own web site. They are absolutely free, not a bonus with a purchase, but really free. I list several on the freebie page at my site. Once you have your own web site working, you can mimic old LateNiteLeroy and start posting your own list. This will generate referral income to YOU, not just this columnist. Socialist politicians have promised "equally distributed wealth" and a chicken in every pot for centuries, but not until the Internet does that bogus promise become not only feasible, but reality and accomplished by free enterprise, not government.

I also must point out the major difference between the "giveaways" I write about and your garden-variety pyramid, MLM scheme. Schemes are just that, "perceptions of wealth." But ad revenue is absolutely REAL. Try to run a 60-second TV commercial in a major market and see what the ad sales person demands. $$$$$$$ Only with the Internet can that genuine stack of cash be shared with those who create the sale in the first place, you the viewer.

A good business manager studies his ad costs and reduces all the numbers to the final price of "cost per new customer." He then compares that number with potential sales or revenue that the acquired customer can create, to see if he can stay above water, or just issue a fast IPO and flee to Belize. (that's a story for another day). A major site out there is IWON.com. They have determined that giving away $10,000 every day in prize money brings enough new, regular visitors to their news page (RIM news) so that they can charge well in excess of that to their banner advertisers.

So I'm begging you to get your own list posted on YOUR OWN site. This money is way too easy to make for me to grab it all. I subscribe to a service that lets me know of 2 or 3 new "pay to surf" site start ups every day. I don't have the time or patience to try them all. Some might be better than the leaders. But I will tell you now, NOBODY has them all compiled in a single list, and tested to see how user friendly the banners are. But there is a market if you have the time to do it.

My new cash giveaways today are "WHY" and "MyEmag.com". One gives you $20 US dollars, the other gives you $10 Flooz dollars. Each is time sensitive, and gives you an additional $5 for every referral, so act quickly. When you get your site running you will soon learn some referral sites have different technical requirements than others. The grand daddy of all sites is BePaid which last week announced its view bar will roll out on May 15th. A banner for BePaid sign up is now posted on the front page of 888WebToday.com. Remember to have your cookies enabled when going to their site for your application to work properly, and tell your referrals to do the same.
