Jerusalem Update #7

Greetings from Jerusalem!
A bomb was planted in a work truck in north Jerusalem in the French Hill area,
which did not explode until the driver had driven to Gilo and was underneath the
truck working on it. The driver was not hurt critically. (The Lord’s
protection!)
A suicide bomber disguised as an ultra-orthodox Jew blew himself up on the edge
of the Ultra-Orthodox Jewish Community of Mea Sharim in Jerusalem, injuring 13
people. (As no deaths often occur and bombs prematurely explode this again has
to be the Lord’s protection!)
Also this week a leading Christian Arab leader was shot in Beit Jala by
intruding masked gunmen. (This is strong intimidation against the Christian
community to not contradict propaganda stories put out by
"Palestinian" sources. The easiest way to initially check a story is
by the name signed to it, i.e. Christian Arabs very, vary rarely have Moslem
names! A Moslem who converts to Christianity in the Palestinian areas is usually
killed by the family!)
Heavy gun battles have occurred in Hebron as well as other areas in the north
and Gaza.
NOT surprising: World Conference in Durban makes Anti-Israel allegations by
equating Zionism with Racism, which results in Israel and the USA withdrawing
from the conference. Folks we think this is only the beginning;
"Anti-Israel" will eventually include all nations against Israel,
including the USA, Europe and etc., which because they are currently siding with
Israel confirm we still have a ways to go time wise! Definitions for
consideration: Zionism: A movement for re-establishing, advancing and
development of the Jewish national state, Israel. Racism: The belief that some
races are inherently better than others, which promotes racial prejudice and/or
discrimination.
High security was established for the opening of the new school year in Gilo on
the edge of Jerusalem, across from Arab, Palestinian, Beit Jala, by contractors
completing the installation of bulletproof school windows in time for the start
of school and increased security guards on street corners. Sporadic shooting
from Beit Jala at Gilo has not stopped!
We talked to a personal friend who is an intensive care nurse and we were told
the 86-year-old woman who in the news was declared dead and then several hours
later revived while being washed for burial has now been sent home in good
health!
Saudi Arabia and Jordan have again in strong terms reaffirmed support for the
11-month-old "intifada" against Israel.
This month on the 18th will be the Jewish Rabbinical declared
beginning of the Jewish "New Year", Rosh Ha Shanah, 5762. At the
beginning of the Oslo Accords some of you may remember we took the Jewish year
number and equated it into Hebrew alphabetical letters. Doing so gave a meaning
of the "forced treaty will be broken". Now it would seem that the year
5762 would equate to "The flowing freely as water". If this is a
correct interpretation could it be deeply prophetic, indicating a coming freedom
of Israel from the present conflicts and more?
Also this month on the evening of the 26th Yom Kippur, the Day of
Atonement, begins as spoken about in Leviticus chapter 16. Many people strongly
equate the timing of the "Rapture" or "Gathering Together"
as happening on Rosh Ha Shanah or sometime during the time until the end of
"Tabernacles" in October. We have said for a great many years that
this will not be the timing. First of all: "Fall" is not the
Biblical "First of the Year" and second it is not the timing of the
"Middle of the Week". (Normally Jewish Weddings happen in the middle
of the week on Tuesday evening or before Wednesday evening due to the double
blessing God gave, in the creation account in Genesis, on that day. And the
Rabbinic interpretation that the "Fall" is the "Beginning of the
Year", which many use as the reason why the "Gathering" will
occur, contradicts Bible. In the Jewish calendar this is the "Seventh
Month", Tishri, and October is basically Cheshvan. I say,
"basically" because at times the calendars overlap. In differing years
Rosh Ha Shanah can occur anywhere from the first week to the last week in
September. The true first of the year is just before Passover in the spring.)
We see that the Time of Jacob’s Trouble is already past, 1938-1945, out of
which was created the State of Israel, just as Jacob’s name was changed to
Israel after wrestling with the angel. We see that "The Tribulation"
begins after the anti-Christ makes his declaration in a restored Jewish Temple
in the mid point of the "Week". And while we see that no one can know
the "day and hour" we can know "The Season" of the
"Gathering". We see that the "Gathering" shall occur in the
spring of the year in the middle of Daniel’s 70th Week on or near
Purim during the 45 Days that follow the anti-Christ declaring that he is God.
Will we be prepared to see those days?
