Greetings from Jerusalem!

It has been reported that Israel will export thousands of hang gliders to residents of tall apartment buildings and skyscrapers in the United States due to the fact that  insurance rates for multi-story buildings and high-rise office buildings have increased dramatically since the September 11 attacks. It is reported that a Chicago-based insurance company recommended hang gliders to clients, offering a discount on insurance rates for companies purchasing the devices for employees. An Israeli company has developed small, simple-to-use hang gliders that allow occupants of tall buildings to safely exit buildings in danger without having to use elevators or stairwells.

On strike in Israel! Customs workers and other services currently on strike are causing a deepening economic crisis for Israeli exports. It is reported that many exports are being prevented from reaching their destinations, and some Israeli factories are without raw materials to manufacture goods. Also reported is some assembly lines have already been closed and workers have been sent on forced vacations.

Within hearing distance of where we live is a ³Moslem House of Prayer², or ³Mosque². Five times a day they broadcast the ³Call to Prayer² (the Mosque¹s can be heard from almost anywhere in Jerusalem). On Fridays they loudly broadcast for about an hour to an hour and a half the ³message² for the week, just after noontime. This last week we asked a Christian Arab friend nears us ³just what are they saying currently in the message?² The answerŠ ³They are saying very bad things about Christianity and the Jews and pronounce curses against them². Moslems consider Jews and Christians as ³Pagans" or "Infidels². In the Koran, Sura 5, verse 85, the enmity between Moslems and non-Moslems is described: "Strongest among men in enmity to the Believers (Islam) wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans." In the Koran, Sura 9, verse 5 it is then stated: "Then fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them. And seize them, beleaguer them and lie in wait for them, in every stratagem [of war]." Then nations, the Koran insists, must be fought "until they embrace Islam". Surat At-Taubah 9:29 adds: "Fight against those who believe not in Allah, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth [Islam], until they are subdued."

The Mosques are reacting to the attacks against Afghanistan. We often hear it repeated that the USA attacks on Afghanistan are not attacks against Islam Š  but if this were true then why do we hear the curses spoken from the Mosques and of the many demonstrations against the USA worldwide with the statements that the attacks in Afghanistan are against the people and Islam? It should be noted that in the realm of Islam the religious beliefs and political policies cannot be separated just as the political and religious beliefs of the Jewish people cannot be separated. Islam means ³submission² meaning a submission from all world inhabitants to Islam, if necessary by force. According to Islam, agreements made between a Muslim and a non-Muslim (an infidel) need not be honored. This is why there has been no agreement with the Arab ³Palestinian² people that has worked or will work! Consider this: Muslims/Arabs control over 56 countries in the world, 21 of them are all ³Arab² in the Middle East, none of which are democracies and all, to one degree or another, oppress basic human rights of women and any other Religion than Islam. It would seem very obvious that Islam desires Israel¹s and the West¹s destruction. But these desires in the Middle East will soon be broken when Isaiah Chapter seventeen occurs. In the near future if a Palestinian State is declared and Israel annexes the areas to Israel, which are not ³A² Autonomous Palestinian areas, then major conflicts will occur incited by the Palestinians against Israel. Declaring a Palestinian state: It is reported that Israeli Minister Danny Naveh was asked what Israel should do in the event that Arafat declares a state. ³My recommendation², Naveh stated, ³would be that if Arafat declares unilaterally, we should also take unilateral steps of our own, as the Netanyahu government decided, including the possibility of annexing certain areas in Judea and Samaria...² Such moves by Israel could easily bring Syria and Jordan into a war, which Israel will win (Isaiah 17:14)!

Historical events for consideration:
In 622 A.D. Mohammed traveled to Medina and tried to force the Jews to convert. When they refused, two Jewish tribes were expelled. In 627, Muhammad's followers killed between 600 and 900 of the men, and divided the surviving Jewish women and children amongst themselves (a Muslim man can take a non-Muslim as a wife but non-Muslims are not allowed to touch a Muslim woman). Non-Muslims were excluded from public office and armed service, were forbidden to bear arms, not allowed to ride horses or camels, could not build synagogues or churches taller than mosques, or construct houses higher than those of Muslims or to drink wine in public. Non-Muslims were not allowed to pray or mourn in loud voices, as that might offend the Muslims, had to show public deference toward Muslims, always yielding them the center of the road, were not allowed to give evidence in court against a Muslim, nor were the non-Muslims oath acceptable in an Islamic court. For defense non-Muslins would have to purchase Muslim witnesses at great expense leaving little legal recourse when harmed by a Muslim. Jews were forced to wear distinctive clothing with huge collars, which made them the subject of ridicule. In the ninth century, Baghdad's Caliph al-Mutawakkil designated a yellow badge for Jews, setting a precedent that would be followed centuries later in Nazi Germany. Has anything changed? History would seem to say, ³no². After NATO gave Albanians in Kosovo the province, Moslems cleansed 80 percent of the Serb population and destroyed over 100 Orthodox churches. In Indonesia, the Laskar Jihad (which includes veterans of Bosnia and Afghanistan) attacked Christian villages in September 2000. In two provinces, over 5,000 died and over 250,000 were driven from their homes since January 1999. According to a news source Muslims in England are trained in paramilitary camps and sent to Lebanon and Jordan to join the holy war against Israel. As one young recruit is reported to have explained: ³Anything OTHER than Muslim dictatorship signifies oppression². Today in Southern France, there are more mosques than churches. The question then becomes, ³How long before the Muslims in Western countries begin to view the non-Muslims as their oppressors and start their Jihad (Holy War) for "liberation" of those countries? Was September 11th the beginning of this ³Jihad²? It would seem so.

Today in Israel Muslim clerics claim that there is no evidence of a Jewish connection to Jerusalem. These claims contradict the heritage of the ³City of David² and the Biblical Jewish King. Such attacks against Biblical truths are the beginnings of the spiritual negation of not only Jewish heritage but also Christian beliefs to further justify Jihad against the Infidels, you and I. If you have watched, as we have, personally the dancing ceremonies of Jordan and other ³Arab² nations you would see the sword and knife carrying dancers (men), enacting aggression against their enemies the infidels! This is the core of Islamic belief! I stated several letters ago that the only way this can now be over, in the natural, is by a worldwide one-world Government! Major end-time prophecies are beginning. Soon, either before or just after Isaiah chapter 17, the Ashes of the Red heifer will be found! Daniel¹s 70th week is not very many years away!
