Janet Reno Surrenders to Reason, Allowing Boy Scouts on Federal Land

WASHINGTON, DC, September 3, 2000 (WebToday)-- Wow! And we thought Desert Storm was a quick battle.

In the battle of the Boy Scouts vs. The United States of American, the Boy Scouts just won.

As most of you have been following, The U.S. Department of the Interior asked the Justice Department how Bill Clinton's June 23 Executive Order would affect Boy Scout activities on Federal land.

Well, in just two days the battle is over. Attorney General surrendered to reason and is giving the "green light" for Scouts to camp on Federal land.
