CIA Links to "Mark of the Beast?"
THE SHADOWLANDS, November 18, 2000 (Web Today)"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond; to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads; and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man; and the number is six hundred threescore and six." (The Holy Bible/Revelation 13:16-18)
Nearly two thousand years ago, Jesus beloved apostle, John, was shown an end-time population control system, numerically based, economically linked. The system would lock out anyone who refused to participate from the basic requisites of survival.
On this page and others, we have read numerous warnings that a new population tracking system being marketed through Applied Digital Solutions and known as the "Digital Angel" could fulfill all the criteria laid down in scripture for fulfillment of this momentous end-time prophecy.
To learn the official company line, we assigned one of our reporters to an on-line chat with a Digital Angel representative. What follows is the text of that chat. ("You say" is our Web Today reporter. "Evelyn" is the ADS/Digital Angel attendant.)
Welcome to Applied Digital Solutions Connected to switch... Position in queue: 1 Please Wait For The Next Available Agent, Your Call Will Be Answered In The Order It Was Received Ringing at agent... Evelyn joins call. <You say> Hello <Evelyn> Hi - this is Evelyn. <Evelyn> How can I help you? <You say> Is the Digital Angel used for health purposes? <Evelyn> Digital Angel technology is still in the development phase. <Evelyn> Digital Angel is being designed to be worn (or bonded closely) to the body of the wearer, not implanted beneath the skin <You say> Is it connected to the brain? <Evelyn> No - it is not connected - it is worn. <You say> Then how does it tell if you need help or not? <Evelyn> Digital Angel is a micro chip that is designed to receive signals from GPS satellites and collect life signs from biosensors. <You say> How can it find out if youre hurt? <Evelyn> It can be turned on - and your vital signs are monitored. <Evelyn> Then medical help could be alerted - if your health is in jeopardy. <You say> How do you turn it on? <Evelyn> Under these conditions - it would probably be prescribed by a medical doctor or hospital. <Evelyn> It will have a switch. <Evelyn> As in a watch. <Evelyn> How you visited the website - www.digitalangel.net? <Evelyn> Is that where you called from? <You say> Does this have anything to do with 666? <Evelyn> It does not have anything to do with 666. <You say> I just want to know if it has anything to do with the mark of the beast? <Evelyn> No - it does not. <Evelyn> We have had this question before. <Evelyn> Digital Angel is a micro chip that is designed to receive signals from GPS satellites and collect life signs from biosensors. <You say> Are you a machine? <Evelyn> No, I am not a machine. <Evelyn> Do you have any other questions or comments? <You say> Yes, does this have anything to do with the CIA? <Evelyn> No. <You say> Does it go into your skin, at all? <Evelyn> The patent came from a retired police officer and an attorney. <You say> You didn't answer my question. <Evelyn> It is designed for protection. <Evelyn> No - it does not go into the skin at all. <You say> Will it ever go into the skin? <Evelyn> No - it will not be implanted. <You say> Thank you, goodbye. <Evelyn> The Digital Angel chip is also being designed for protection of our wildlife and pets - as well as valuable properties such as works of art. <Evelyn> Thank you for your call and your interest in Digital Angel. <Evelyn> Have a nice day.
To be totally honest, when the Digital Angel was introduced, the electronic chip was designed for insertion under the skin and was intended for human tracking, medical monitoring and e-commerce applications. This was announced in the earliest Digital Angel press releases.
They later revised their plans, changing the function of the chip to one that would be worn externally like a wristwatch, with no mention of its potential for business use currently found at the Digital Angel website. The reason given for the change was failure to receive FDA approval for human implantation. But at no time were we told the FDA injunction was permanent.
What we do know is that Digital Angel works in conjunction with a satellite GPS system. In order for this to be a truly global system, it would need to be coordinated with satellites that monitor the entire earth.
Just such a system does exist but appeared to be headed onto the trash heap of economic history until this week. Motorola, the prior owner of the Iridium satellite system had threatened to pull the plug, claiming it was taking huge financial losses on the 66 satellites positioned thousands of miles over the earth.
Then, a new company, known only as Iridium Satellite went into US Bankruptcy Court and plunked down enough cash to pay for the entire system, including the satellites.
Interestingly, the new Iridium owners plan to survive by marketing its communication system first and foremost to the US government.
An article found at the British business website, The Register, indicates that the US government is believed to have repaid Motorola the millions in operating losses to keep those satellites aloft.
The assumption is also made that the new Iridium operators will be likely to reclaim all the original government communication contracts, since it has allegedly been spending those large sums of cash to prevent the satellites destruction.
So far, weve established that a system (Digital Angel) exists or could quickly be altered to perfectly fulfill the description of the Biblical "mark of the beast." Weve established that the US government appears to have an interest in keeping a system of global communication satellites operating that could provide the total reach necessary to make the "beast system" work.
But the third puzzle piece fell into our laps, this week, at the same British website, The Register. They printed an article on a new CIA Start-Up Company, La Graviton, naming its new CEO, Sol Trujillo, and describing how the firm received venture capital from a CIA investment group known as In-Q-Tel (dubbed in honor of James Bonds equipment supplier, "Q.") We did some legwork and discovered that In-Q-Tel is registered as a non-profit corporation in Nevada, where the identities of stockholders cannot be revealed. We also learned that In-Q-Tel has D.C. offices located within one mile of the White House.
What really caught our eye was the last sentence of the Register article which indicated that the wireless communication network developed by La Graviton would use "remote monitoring devices" to track the health of patients.
Alarm bells started going off. Why would the CIA want to track human health? And didnt the Digital Angel system promise that IT would be used to monitor human health?
Also, why is the government allegedly pouring millions of dollars into saving a global communication system that many thought was made obsolete by the development of new digital technology?
At this point, we have far more questions than answers but as my pappy used to say, "If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck "
You can fill in the rest.
Oh, and lest we forget, scripture also tells us the fate of anyone who does receive the end-time "mark of the beast" and worships him.
"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image and receives his mark in his forehead or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb, And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever, and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." (Rev.14:9-11)
